1. INTRODUCTION

ReceiptNest is an offline Android application provided by TECHMAX PRIVATE LIMITED. It helps you organize receipt photos, product purchases, warranty dates, stores, repair records and spending details. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is stored and used, when it may leave your device, and how you can manage or delete it.

2. INFORMATION YOU ENTER

You may choose to add receipt images, product names, categories, prices, purchase dates, store details, payment-method labels, model and serial numbers, warranty dates and providers, repair records, costs, notes, and reminder preferences.

ReceiptNest uses this information to display and search your records, track warranties, show spending summaries, maintain repair history, create PDF reports and schedule optional local reminders. These app records are stored on your device. The app does not require you to create an account or provide your name, phone number or email address to use its main features.

3. DATA COLLECTION, SHARING AND INTERNET ACCESS

The current offline version of ReceiptNest does not request Android's INTERNET permission. It does not upload your receipt records, images or purchase information to a developer-controlled server. The current app does not include advertising, analytics, online tracking, cloud synchronization or remote database services.

ReceiptNest does not automatically share your saved records with third parties. Information can leave your device if you choose to export, back up, send, upload or otherwise share files through Android or another application.

4. CAMERA, PHOTOS AND DOCUMENT ACCESS

When you choose to photograph a receipt, ReceiptNest uses the device's camera application. When you select an existing image, the app accesses the image you choose through Android's photo or document selection interface. Selected receipt images are stored in the app's local storage and associated with your saved records.

For PDF exports and ZIP backup or restore operations, ReceiptNest uses Android's document picker to access the specific file or destination you select. It does not require unrestricted access to your photo library or device storage to perform these functions.

5. NOTIFICATIONS AND WARRANTY REMINDERS

If you enable warranty reminders, ReceiptNest may request permission to display notifications. It uses your saved warranty dates and reminder preferences to schedule on-device alerts. Reminders may be rescheduled after a device restart or certain system changes. Android battery management or notification restrictions can affect when notifications appear.

You can switch off warranty reminders in the app's settings or manage notification permission in your Android device settings.

6. PDF EXPORTS, BACKUPS AND USER-INITIATED SHARING

ReceiptNest can create PDF reports and ZIP backup files containing your purchase information, receipt images, repair records and related app data. You choose where exported files are saved. If you store a backup with a third-party file provider, send it to another person or upload it using another app, that service or recipient handles the shared copy under its own privacy practices.

ZIP backups generated by ReceiptNest are not password-protected or encrypted by the app. Please store backups and exported reports securely and share them carefully.

7. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

ReceiptNest keeps its records and selected images in Android app-private storage on your device. Records remain there until you edit or delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Some data may also remain in separate files that you previously exported or backed up.

ReceiptNest does not maintain an online account or a developer-operated database of your saved receipt records.

8. YOUR CHOICES AND DATA DELETION

You can edit or delete saved receipts and associated records using app features. You can also clear the app's data through Android settings or uninstall the app. Doing so may permanently erase locally stored information if you have not saved a separate backup.

Deleting data inside ReceiptNest does not automatically delete exported PDFs, ZIP backups or files already shared with other apps or people. You must remove those separate copies from their storage locations or ask recipients to delete them as appropriate.

9. DATA SECURITY

Android's app-private storage helps restrict other apps from directly accessing ReceiptNest records and images. However, no device or storage method can guarantee absolute security. We recommend using a device screen lock and keeping exported PDF and ZIP backup files in safe locations. Files exported outside app-private storage may have different security protections.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

ReceiptNest is a general-purpose receipt and warranty organizer and is not specifically designed for children. It does not include advertising-based personalization, social networking or online user profiles.

11. THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS, SUPPORT EMAILS AND POLICY UPDATES

ReceiptNest may rely on standard Android camera, notification, photo selection and document-provider components. If you use another app to capture, export, save or share information, that app's own privacy practices may apply.

If you voluntarily contact us by email, we receive the email address and information you choose to provide in the message. Email delivery providers may also process that communication. Please avoid including sensitive purchase details unless necessary.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our app or data practices change. The revision date at the top will be updated. The current policy should be made available within the app and on the publicly accessible webpage linked from its Google Play listing.
